Vinyl Coated Foam Pool Float Tips

By Jennie Sandoval

Imagine floating across the sparkling blue waters of your pool. This dream can be a reality with your vinyl coated foam pool float. The area of this seventy-inch-long equipment or pad is big enough and buoyant enough for the largest person.

As the name of the equipment or product suggests, it is constructed of dense but lightweight foam. The material used for construction is then covered with durable, brightly colored vinyl to make it waterproof and long lasting. With its core, this pad is literally unsinkable.

The foam center of this equipment ensures it stays buoyant no matter how heavy the weight placed on it. This means that even tall or heavy people and those who are non-swimmers can feel comfortable and safe floating about the water on this amazing device. The closed cell formation of the foam used to construct this in-pool recline will never get waterlogged.

The exterior of the equipment is soft, colorful, easy to clean vinyl. If the tough surface gets punctured by a sharp object while inside or outside the water, this will not affect its buoyancy. The foam inside this recreational object will continue to support the person who uses it as a floatation device.

When not in use the equipment will roll up for easy storage. This is a huge improvement over other non-folding floats which require large amounts of space in your garage or the area where this still water is located. Because this pad will roll for easy storage it is a lot more likely to have a lasting life. Other similar equipments or floats which would not fold or roll often got bumped or cracked or compressed because of their size and awkward shape.

The vinyl coating on this equipment is soft for sitting or lying on. The flexibility the equipment defies cracking with changes in weather. It does not get hot or stick to you while you are floating in the water. The color does not come off on the person floating. Moreover, the non-fading vinyl looks like new for years.

This equipment can serve several purposes. The obvious one is as a floating bed for someone who wishes to drift along the surface of the water reading a good book, or napping, or just enjoying an opportunity to tan and feel the sun's heat.

Those who teach swimming lessons have used the pad very successfully to carry items they will toss into the water to have swimmers dive for them. The swimmers then return the objects to the float. This device serves as a "desk" for the swimming instructor. The vinyl coated foam pool float has also been used as a surface for young swimmers to experience the pool and "dive" from rather than the side of the the area where the still water is located. The equipment is closer to the water's surface making the dive into the water for the small swimmers not nearly as scary. In addition small tots can cling to the sides of the float until they feel confident enough to let go and float on their own in the shallow end of the pool.
